Prepare the succulent patterns from the provided template. The template includes 1 base pattern, 4 half-base patterns and a spiral center pattern. Select a colored craft paper of your choice, try using medium or medium light craft papers. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft paper with a pencil and cut them out using a pair of scissors.

Take the base cutout and cut a slit along the yellow line.

Apply glue along any one side of the slit and overlap both sides of the slit to join them.

Now, take the half-base cutouts and cut slits along the yellow lines. Apply glue along any one side of the slits.

Overlap both sides of the slit to join the open sides.

One by one prepare the rest of the half-base patterns, similarly.

Take the spiral cutout and start to coil the pattern from its outer edge.

Coil the spiral pattern all the way to the center and then let it loosen up a little. Glue the coiled part with the center to secure the pattern.

Take any one of the big half-base patterns and attach it with the base.

Attach the other half-base pattern on the opposite side of the first one.

Attach the small half-base patterns for the 2nd layer.

Attach the coiled pattern in the center of the 2nd layer to complete the paper succulent pattern

You can use different colors or shades to create variation in designs.
