Embarking on a memorable first family holiday to Singapore guarantees an abundance of thrilling adventures, tailored to suit your child’s unique interests. Explore the following list of exciting activities and attractions that will make your family vacation in Singapore truly unforgettable:

Visit MINT Museum of Toys

Parents are able to relive their childhood and grab onto some nostalgia, as well as introduce the kids to toys that they would never believed to exist back in the day. From characters such as Tintin and Popeye, this museum showcases a huge 50,000 piece collection of vintage toys. There are one-of-a-kind pieces that you will be sure to have forgotten about, even dating back to the mid 1800’s. You will definitely enjoy this little exploration of toys.

Changi Jurassic Mile

If you have children that are interested in dinosaurs then it’s worth taking a walk in Changi Jurassic Mile. This is the world’s biggest permanent outdoor display of dinosaurs and is the home to over 20 different colossal creatures. Whilst you spend time exploring the grounds, try and keep your eyes peeled for the baby dinosaurs that are hatching from their huge eggs. You can spot all 9 species along the one-kilometer path.

Skydive at iFly

If you have adrenaline seeking children, then why not send them in for an indoor skydive? They will be blown away by this experience as they step foot into a tunnel that has fans running in order to keep them in the air. Your child will feel as if they’ve just jumped out of a plane at 13,000 feet. This experience is completely safe and there are professionals always keeping watch.

Skyline Luge Sentosa

This is like no other outdoor experience. You and your child can race down from the top of Sentosa and you can choose from 4 different tracks; Expedition, Dragon, Kupu Kupu and Jungle. Depending on what you’re looking for, these tracks all have something different. Some have twists and turns that will keep you on your toes, whilst there’s others that are suitable for the more sensitive souls. Your child has to be over the age of 6 to ride on their own, but if they’re under 6, they can have the pleasure of riding along with you.

Fishing at ORTO

If your child has a passion for fishing, the fishing at ORTO will be the right activity for them. You can completely escape the fast paced reality of Singapore and find yourself at this scenic multi-recreational park. Your little one can have a go at longkang fishing or prawning, which will definitely add to the experience. It isn’t just fishing that is available here, you can also try futsal and paint balling.

Jurong Lake Gardens

The largest nature wonderland is Jurong Lake Gardens and it spans a whole 90-hectares. The grounds are designed and landscaped specifically for families to play, learn and bond. Children are able to burn most of their energy off here by trying out the obstacle courses or bouncing on sunken trampolines. There is also a zip line and a tower where there is a tube slide. Exciting times for your children and for you if you’re a big kid at heart.

Haw Par Villa

This theme park is terrifying but impressive at the same time. There are multi-coloured statues that depict scenes from Chinese mythology and history. The bright colours really draw children in and you can be sure they’ll have a good time.

ArtScience Museum

This lotus-shaped building is a landmark that is iconic in Singapore. It is also a place where technology, art, culture and science come together. Your children can go on an artistic adventure in the exhibition, Future World. The digital art and installations by teamLab gives your child one of the best experiences they’ll ever have. It will really switch on their creative bulb.

Rainforest Kidzworld

If your child loves animals, this will be a great time for them. They can admire the animals in their enclosures and then fully interact with them by touching the furry creatures. Your child will be able to meet rats, bunnies, falabellas, goats, mini pigs, ferrets and guinea pigs. There is also a pool on site which your children can enjoy before or after petting time.

Visit Singapore Zoo

Singapore zoo is classed as one of the best zoos in the world, and for good reason. You and your children will have an unforgettable time here. It is set within a natural rain forest setting and has spacious landscaped enclosures for the animals. A first family holiday in Singapore really wouldn’t be the same if there wasn’t a visit to the zoo
