The placenta forms even before your baby does, it plays a huge role in your pregnancy as it delivers nutrients, oxygen and hormones to your baby whilst also working as a filter to ensure all waste products via the umbilical cord. When your baby is born, it’s usually a case of being so distracted by them that you’re not thinking about anything else. However, there are some celebrity moms who have conserved their placenta to consume at a later time.
Hilary Duff

Hilary and her husband Matthew Koma introduced their daughter, Banks Violent in 2018. It was an all natural and drug-free water birth. Hilary revealed at a later date that she drank her placenta and described it as like drinking a smoothie.

Tia said, “If you think about it too much, you’re not going to like it, because all you’re going to think about is that you’re consuming placenta. But I was surprised that it tasted pretty good mixed with a little bit of alcohol.”

Kim explained, “I’m having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form – not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW). Every time I take a pill, I feel a surge of energy and feel really healthy and good. I totally recommend it for anyone considering it!”
Gaby Hoffmann

She explained that doing this, she felt much better than she did after the birth of her first child, Luna. You can try some of mine after.”
