From Delivery Room to Dinner Plate: Hollywood’s Placenta-Eating Obsession

By Krystal Brown

The placenta forms even before your baby does, it plays a huge role in your pregnancy as it delivers nutrients, oxygen and hormones to your baby whilst also working as a filter to ensure all waste products via the umbilical cord. When your baby is born, it’s usually a case of being so distracted by them that you’re not thinking about anything else. However, there are some celebrity moms who have conserved their placenta to consume at a later time.
