You’re Doing It All WRONG! Celebrities DEDICATED to Becoming Phenomenal Parents

By Krystal Brown

You know the cliché, celebrities with more money than sense, raising spoiled little rich kids who are affected by their complicated love lives, divorces and revolving doors of step parents. However, look a little deeper and you’ll ACTUALLY be surprised at how these well know celebrities are so conscious about raising well rounded children.

Despite a string of different relationships Lopez is actually a really dedicated mother saying her most important job is being the mom of her 15-year-old twins, Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emme Maribel Muniz. Lopez welcomed her kids with ex-husband Marc Anthony in February 2008. She’s quoted as saying “I think a lot about teaching my kids to work hard. I’ve learned something about kids ― they don’t do what you say; they do what you do.”

Pharrell might portray himself as the ultimate player on screen, but appearing on this Jimmy Fallon show he indicated he’s mind is solely focused on raising his kids. He and wife Helen Lasichanh have four children together: son Rocket, born in 2008 and triplets, born in January 2017. Perhaps the ultimate indicator of them wanting to raise their children right is their attempts to protect them from the limelight, we still don’t know the names of the triplets!

In 2019, the mother of two told InStyle that she “loved being pregnant” and “probably would have had five children” if she had “started earlier.” She added, “Or if I hadn’t been busy trying to make movies, I would have been the perfect surrogate.” Her commitment to raising her children right is unmistakable and actually links her experiences to her own personal growth, “for me, motherhood is learning about the strengths I didn’t know I had, and dealing with the fears I didn’t know existed.”

Hugh Jackman reflected on how his dad quietly empowered him to become an independent thinker and how – as a dad to Oscar (18) and Ava (13) – modern fatherhood continues to evolve. He’s penned it all in a book with other famous dads called, ‘The fatherhood’. In it he reflects on the lessons his dad taught him and how it’s inspired him to become an inspiration for the new dad generation.

He’s big, he’s the ultimate Hollywood strongman, but little did you know this tough guy, now certified superhero, is an actual total softy for his three daughters, two from his current marriage (Jasmine and Tiana) to wife Lauren Hashian, and Simone from his first marriage. Recently pictured getting a princess makeover from his younger daughters his older daughter is following in his father footsteps having recently joined training at the WWW performance centre!

The Big Little Lies star shares two children, Bella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise. She also has two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, with her long time love Keith Urban, to whom she’s been married for nearly two decades. Though Kidman and Cruise split in 2001, she told Elle in 2008 that the former couple’s kids were raised “amidst a lot of love…They are generous, kind and hardworking,” Kidman later said of her two older children. “And these are traits that I love to see in my children.” She appreciates the power of adversity and building character in her children recently saying “My instinct is to protect my kids from pain. But adversity is often the thing that gives us character and backbone.”

Reese Witherspoon

Witherspoon shares daughter Ava Phillippe, 23, and son Deacon Phillippe, 19, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, as well as son Tennessee James Toth, 10, with her husband Jim Toth. While balancing motherhood with the demands of her multifaceted career has certainly not been easy, Witherspoon says the sacrifices were “truly worth it.” The actress said on The Drew Barrymore Show. “Being a mom is really great, it’s a big part of my life. I would say it’s the biggest part of my life.” Showing she truly gets it, she also dropped this knowledge bomb recently “I always say, if you aren’t always yelling at your kids, you aren’t spending enough time with them.”

She’s won it all, and reached the literal mountain top of her professional career, but she shows she’s got true perspective on what’s really important in life. Having recently announced she’s pregnant with a second child in 2023, she said about having her daughter Olympia Ohanian with partner Alexis Ohanian. “Twenty-three Grand Slams has been amazing, but I think having my daughter Olympia has probably been the best thing that’s happened to me.”
