4. Trans Fat

7. Rice That Can Be Microwaved

Yes, microwaveable rice is convenient, but it’s often brimming with salt. Depending on the product, a serving of some of those rice may contain 800 to 900 mg of salt. The average bag has two and a half servings, and because the majority of us consume the full bag, it rapidly adds up to more than 2,000 mg of salt in a single serving.
What’s wrong with it, though? The American Heart Association advises consuming no more than 2,300 milligrams of sodium, or roughly one teaspoon of salt, daily. Thus, we can consume nearly a day’s worth of salt in a single sitting, which may leave us feeling bloated, heavy, and worn out.
8. Corn Syrup With A High Fructose Content

Since it is less expensive and sweeter than sugar, HFCS (high-fructose corn syrup) is a popular constituent in many processed products and is a favorite among many companies.
