Graphic design is an ultra-creative job that involves the creation of visual content to project ideas and experiences. Many web developers might find their job redundant due to the impact of the AI platform that uses machine learning algorithms and natural language to generate web layouts, custom designs, and plugins lines of code. ChatGPT, Google Bard, and many other AI tools have catalyzed a faster and more productive web development process. Similarly, the incursion of AI-Powered web development platforms like Wix ADI, 10Web, CodeWP, and others allows individuals and businesses to build professional-looking websites with zero coding experience. Therefore, the debate around web developers’ jobs disappearing because of AI can be put to rest based on the above premise.

We are undoubtedly in the AI age, and automation has significantly impacted the data entry industry. AI has enabled the mass deviation of people from the traditional data entry methods leading to a monumental phase-out of data entry clerks. The new cutting-edge AI technology has brought a more efficient approach to data transfer, processing, and management. The old data entry method that requires human effort can become tacky and mind-numbing, leading to confusion and loss of focus. Automated data entry has eliminated all these drawbacks with a more tailored interface created for specific industries and individual goals that have helped them achieve better responsiveness and results.

Administrative assistants handle routine office operations such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, booking appointments, retrieving data, etc. Many of these tasks have been taken by AI in recent times. For instance, most companies have implemented AI tools like ChatGPT for appointment booking, organizing schedules, etc. Another area where AI has taken over the job of administrative assistants is answering common questions from customers. The introduction of AI-powered chatbots has automated this task and rendered their position redundant.

Data Analysis

The rapid advance of generative AI has put most data analysts out of jobs with glossy streamlining tasks such as data scraping, cleaning, and visualization. This is no big deal if we look at the enormous capabilities of AI compared with the specific role of data analysts. ChatGPT, Ajelix, and other ai tools and spreadsheets have changed the dynamics and focus of people, which can be likened to a shift away from the old way of data analysis that involved human influence in big data scraping, cleaning, analysis, and placement into human-readable format.

AI or artificial intelligence disruption in copy editing and proofreading industry has ignited mass redundancy in this industry due to its many edges ahead of human copy editors and proofreaders. AI certainly has a lower margin for error than the human eye, and it can proofread and edit faster. AI’s advantage over copy editors and proofreaders has rendered their job unneeded by authors who have preferred the more efficient AI-powered proofreader and copy editing tools such as Grammarly, Quillbot, Hemingway, and much more to handle their work.

Market Research Analyst

AI is built on vast knowledge that cuts across a broad reach beyond human comprehension. The increasing number of AI tools and software available for use by businesses have placed market research analysts’ jobs on the radar of jobs that will disappear because of AI. Market research analysts help companies understand consumer preferences using data gathered from past activities. The introduction of game-changing AI-powered market research tools like Appen, Ramesh, Crayon, and Pecan that can also provide actionable insight from big unstructured data has disadvantaged this job due to business preference for the much more efficient and fast AI-powered tools.

Bank teller or bank clerk provides routine accounting services like cashing checks, processing transactions, receiving deposits, issuing saving withdrawals, etc. The advent of AI has enforced mass automation in the banking industry, which has ushered in the usage of AI-powered robots to engage customers and carry out accounting services. In a recent survey by daily mail, more than three-quarters of respondents believed that artificial intelligence would become the primary way banks will interact with customers, leading to the disappearance of bank teller jobs. Several banks like Bank of America, HDFC, and Capital One have all explored the possibility of using AI-powered robots in carrying out various routine accounting operations long before OpenAI.

The use of AI in translation services has outclassed what professional translators can offer in terms of speed, cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy, which has caused a massive decline in the need for human translators. The development of AI-powered transition tools like ChatGPT that analyze texts, break them down into smaller components, and uses neural networks to identify the most relevant translation based on the data you input has proven to be faster and more dependable than professional translators, leading to massive layoff in the translation industry.
