Not only was Sofia a young mom, but she was also a single mom and brought up her son Manolo Gonzalez-Ripoll Vergara to ensure that they remained close. Sofia stated, “I was very young when I divorced his father, so I raised him trying to set the best example and give him the best I could.” 

Jordin Sparks

One little boy into their family, Jordin and her husband Dana Isaiah Thomas have decided that there are no plans to add anymore children to their lives. Jordin stated, “Yeah, I’m good with one. We’re both good. I can’t say what’s going to happen in the future, but I’m, like, very sure that it’s still gonna stay just one.” 

Kate Moss

The modelling icon, Kate Moss, has one daughter, Lila Grace Moss Hack, and after her birth, Kate stated that having Lila made her “never lonely again. I always had my baby… We’re hanging out as friends because she’s getting older. We can go shopping together, and it’s really fun.” 

Regina King

Actress Regina King decided to stick with one child, however, her son, Ian Alexander Jr. died by suicide in January 2022. A year later, Regina posted a moving tribute, “As we still process his physical absence, we celebrate his presence. We are all in different places on the planet, so is Ian. His spirit is the thread that connects us. I see you in everything I breathe. My absolute favorite thing about myself is being… Regina the mother of Ian the GodKing. Continue to shine bright, my guiding light.” 

Courteney Cox

Even though she has one daughter, Coco Riley Arquette, with her ex husband David Arquette, she has expressed keen interest in having another baby with her now boyfriend Johnny McDaid. However, Courteney and her daughter are super close.

Eva Longoria

Eva gave birth to her son, Santiago Enrique, at the age of 43 and stated that “He was meant to be with me at this stage. I’m more patient and I don’t work as much, even though it doesn’t seem that way!”

Lily Mo is Kate Beckinsale’s daughter, and only child. On Lily’s birthday, Kate posted to Instagram, saying, “Happy 21st birthday, you amazing fairy person. I love you my Lily, and you’re smaller than the rain hands. Happy birthday, funniest, best, most brilliant angel face. PS please feel free to finally try a sip of alcohol for the first time.” 

Amy Duggar King

Amy has been trolled online for only having one child, and her response was brilliant, “A woman’s body is not a factory.” The rest of the Duggar’s have lots of kids, and they’re famously known for this, but Amy says, “I am an only child, and I think I grew up just fine. So, cheers to the mamas who decide to have one child.” 

Katie Holmes

Katie has one daughter, Suri Cruise, and has been very open about the struggles of raising her only daughter within the spotlight. Holmes says, “I love her so much. My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality. To make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident, and able. And to know it. She came out very strong – she’s always been a strong personality.” 

Tyra Banks

Tyra has one son, York Banks Asla. He was born via surrogate and Tyra says, “I’m one and done, but not by choice.” She goes on to explain that her parenting road has been extremely rocky. She kept very private about the whole ordeal but is over the moon to have her son.
